Australian comics writer Julie Ditrich will have her work featured in the Comix Creatrix Exhibition to be launched at Liverpool Library on Monday 4 July 2016 as part of the annual Comic Con-versation event.

Inspired by the Comix Creatrix exhibition at House of Illustration in London, Liverpool City Library presents the works of some of Australia’s leading and most dynamic women comic creators including Karen Beilharz (writer), Queenie Chan (writer / artist), Regina Clarke (artist), Alex Hammond (artist), Judex Jones (artist), Mandy Ord (writer / artist), Lesley Vamos (artist), and many more.

Julie’s piece is twofold. One piece is a page of script from her short story “The Lake”, which was published in the Australia anthology (ComicOz) in late 2015. It is accompanied by a page of lettered art created by Peter Fairfax, so viewers can see how writing translates into sequential art.
